Leaving a little space outside the feed

I wanted somewhere to put things without first deciding whether they were interesting enough to interrupt someone. A photograph of the greenhouse. A paragraph about soil. A link to a friend's plot.

This site is a place I can return to and rearrange. The shelves do not have to be full. The writing does not have to be finished. Nothing here is competing for your attention because there is no competition.

If you found your way here through someone else's website, I am glad. That is the kind of internet I would like to spend more time in — one made of open doors instead of feeds.
