Hello, I’m Mara.
I tend a small garden behind a rented house in the valley — tomatoes, herbs, and more zinnias than any one person needs — and I write down what it teaches me.
This plot is my corner of the internet. No feed, no algorithm, no performance. Just notes on growing things, slowing down, and paying attention to the ordinary stuff.
Right now
Fall lettuce just went in. The seed catalog is dog-eared on eleven pages. The tomatoes are winding down, the fern is recovering, and I’m learning how to do nothing without feeling guilty about it.
